EasyTicket Gongsanseong Fortress

Gongsanseong Fortress is a mountain fortress that protected the capital during Baekje's Ungjin period. It is part of the UNESCO-listed Baekje Historic Areas, and walking paths follow the fortress walls. The fortress is known for using the terrain along the Geumgang River.
Near the fortress's highest point, around 112.4m above sea level, stands Gwangbokru Pavilion, built during the Joseon period. As you walk the wall path, you can look down over both the Geumgang River and downtown Gongju. The fortress covers a broad wall section spanning parts of Ungjin-dong and Geumseong-dong.
