Server Time

When you need precise timing for concert ticketing, baseball ticket booking, KTX reservations, or course registration right at opening time. It displays standard time synchronized with the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) NTP in milliseconds, and also shows the server time and response time (RTT) for any webpage you want to measure.

What is it for?

Anywhere a single second decides whether you get the seat, you need the exact time.

  • Concert and musical ticket drops that open on the dot
  • Sports ticket sales that sell out in seconds
  • Train bookings for holidays and long weekends
  • University course registration
  • Limited-edition drops and first-come-first-served sign-ups

Why does accuracy matter?

Your PC clock may not be NTP-synced, or it syncs so rarely that it drifts tens of milliseconds — sometimes seconds — from standard time. In a drop that sells out in half a second, that drift is the whole difference, so it is safer to check a separately synced server clock.

Our server corrects its own time against KRISS NTP over UDP every hour and passes that to your browser. Round-trip latency from Korea is short, so the result lands within ±5–30 ms.

How to use it

There are two modes.

  • Standard time: just open the page — KRISS-synced time appears down to the millisecond.
  • Measure any site: type a URL such as ticket.melon.com and press Check — you get that server's time and its round-trip latency.
  • PiP clock: in Chrome or Edge, press 📺 to float the clock in a small window while you work elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Why does one second matter?

In an on-the-dot sale, every seat can be gone within half a second. If your PC clock is off from NTP, you start late and lose the seat before you have done anything wrong.

How is this different from other server-time sites?

The measuring principle is similar, but this tool syncs directly over UDP with KRISS NTP. It also offers a picture-in-picture clock you can keep on screen while working, and it can measure the server time of any URL you give it.

How precise is measuring another site?

When the target site sends an HTTP Date header (whole seconds), second-boundary tracking usually gets within ±30–100 ms. Sites behind a CDN cache, or ones that omit the Date header, may be impossible to measure.

Which browsers support the PiP clock?

Chrome 116+, Edge and Opera, which support the Document Picture-in-Picture API. On Firefox and Safari the toggle hides itself automatically.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, it works in mobile browsers. The PiP clock may be unavailable there, so that toggle can be hidden — but the clock and the URL measurement both work.
