Jinyangho Lakeside Observatory
📍 판문동, Jinju
Jinyangho is the only artificial lake in western Gyeongnam, and the Hoban Observatory is a rest facility inside the lakeside park. From this modern three-story building, you get sweeping views of the open lake, the surrounding city, and nearby mountains including Jirisan.
The park is also home to the only zoo in Gyeongnam, where kids can see tigers, lions, bears, giraffes, and other animals up close, making it a hit with children. It also has a circular trail, an experience hall, and a water playground, so families can easily spend a whole day here.
