Mungyeong Omija Theme Tunnel
📍 마성면 진남(구 불정역 인근), Mungyeong
The Mungyeong Omija Theme Tunnel is Seokhyeon Tunnel, once used to haul coal on the Jeomchon–Mungyeong line, refitted as a tourist attraction. Inside the 540m tunnel, twinkling starlight lighting and trick-art displays line the walk, adding to the fun.
The tunnel stays a steady 14–17°C year-round, so it's cool in summer and mild in winter. Near the exit there's a space selling omija (schisandra berries), a Mungyeong specialty, and ceramics, so you can pick up a souvenir on your way out.
