Check-in starts at 3 p.m., and since crowds are said to build between 3 and 5, one guest who arrived toward evening was checked in right away. A separate guest elevator keeps you from mixing with shoppers.

The rooms are a little over 30 square meters, but the high ceilings make them feel less cramped than the number suggests, and reviewers say the lighting is soft. Many mention the big TV and a bed that's comfortably soft, though one review found the pillow too high and too firm, so keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper. Since March 2024, single-use amenities are no longer placed in the rooms.

Many reviews call the bathroom roomy and clean, and there's an electronic bidet. That said, one guest in a room with a tub found that water splashed out while showering, soaking the floor and leaving the room humid, so if you get a tub room it's better to close the curtain carefully.

Most reactions to breakfast are positive, though people also note that it gets busy and crowded. Reviews split between 'plenty of variety' and 'perfectly fine,' so keep expectations moderate; on the plus side, staff show every guest to a table, so you won't be left wandering.

'The Lounge 15' on the 15th floor is open only to guests in Premier rooms or suites. Coffee and tea are available all day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and there's an outdoor garden, which reviewers say makes it a good place to catch your breath. The happy hour that used to come up often in reviews is no longer offered.

Rooms mostly have city views, with the buildings and lights of downtown Yeongdeungpo filling the window. It's not the place for dramatic scenery, but the higher the floor, the more open the view.

There's a rooftop terrace, a good spot to go up for some air. There's no pool, though, so one review notes it may disappoint if you were planning to swim with the kids.

Self-parking is free if you drive, which takes the pressure off, but factor in that the mall garage itself backs up on weekend afternoons. It's a particularly good fit for a day of downtime downtown with the kids, or a one-night stay built around work in the Yeongdeungpo area.
