The Knot Tokyo Shinjuku
📍 Tokyo · ★ 4.5 (2,274 reviews)
A hotel in a quiet neighborhood near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku, known for the smell of the bakery on its ground floor.
So many guests skip the hotel breakfast for the ground-floor bakery that word has spread about the bread itself.

Explore the property
Reviews mention plenty of guests buying coffee and bread and eating breakfast in the lobby chairs, which is a sign the lobby doubles as a comfortable place to relax.
Many reviews single out the bread at Morethan Bakery on the ground floor, and quite a few guests skip the hotel breakfast for it.
Most reviews call the rooms clean and not too cramped, and some say higher floors like the 12th have a decent view. On lower floors, though, you may end up looking at the building in front, depending on which way your room faces.
Basic amenities like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a toothbrush and toothpaste are provided, but reviews note that you'll need to bring extras like a razor or body lotion yourself.
There are vending machines, so you can pick up a drink even late at night.
Under an eco policy, reviews say rooms are cleaned once every three days, while towels are changed and bins emptied daily. Some guests actually preferred it that way.
