Buyongdae Cliff
📍 풍천면, Andong
The name Buyongdae comes from its position looking out over Hahoe Village, which is shaped like a lotus flower. It's a clifftop viewpoint that takes in the Nakdonggang River curling around the village and the Taebaek Mountains encircling it beyond.
You have to cross the river by ferry boat to climb up, which makes the journey itself part of the fun. The view of Hahoe Village from the top is striking enough that it's considered one of Andong's signature photo spots, with a different look in every season.
