Woryeonggyo Bridge

📍 상아동, Andong

Woryeonggyo Bridge photo

Wolyeonggyo is Korea's longest wooden footbridge, named after Wolyeongdae and the surrounding area, which were submerged when the dam was built. The bridge's design carries the story of a wife who wove sandals from her own hair, mourning the husband who had passed before her.

At night, the lights come on and a soft glow spreads across the Nakdonggang River — the sight, paired with the musical fountain, is beautiful enough to have made the Top 100 Night Views list. You can enjoy the scenery by walking across the bridge or by riding the Moon Boat on the water.
