Gubongdo Sunset Observatory
📍 구봉도(대부북동), Ansan
Gubongdo takes its name from the nine peaks that run along the northern tip of Daebudo. The sunset that sinks between Halbae Bawi (Grandfather Rock) and Halmi Bawi (Grandmother Rock) here is widely known as one of the finest sights on the West Sea coast.
A sculpture shaped like the glow of sunset stands at the Sunset Observatory, drawing visitors who want to capture photos at dusk. From there, it's an easy walk across the Gaemiheori Arch Bridge onto the forest trail of Daebu Haesolgil Course 1.
