📍 격포, Buan

Jeokbyeokgang Cliff and Suseongdang Shrine photo

Jeokbyeokgang Cliff is a stretch of red-tinged layered sea cliffs along the Gyeokpo coast, and together with Chaeseokgang it belongs to Jeonbuk West Coast National Geopark. Around Jukmak Village, the northern stretch is called Jeokbyeokgang, while the southern stretch is called Chaeseokgang.

On the slopes of Yongdusan Mountain above the cliffs stands Suseongdang Shrine, tied to legends of fishing and folk belief. In spring, canola flowers bloom, and in fall, cosmos flowers appear, giving the area a different look each season. It is also well known as a coastal driving route.
