EasyTicket Chaeseokgang Cliff

Chaeseokgang Cliff is a sea cliff whose layers look like books stacked one on top of another. It was formed as sedimentary rock laid down roughly 70 million years ago, around the Cretaceous period, was carved by the waves. The area is part of Byeonsan Peninsula National Park and sits right next to Gyeokpo Beach.
At low tide, you can walk all the way beneath the cliffs to the sea caves, and you can also spot small tide pools formed when water is left behind at high tide. Faults, folds, and other landforms can be observed here too, making it known as a geology learning site.
