Dongmak Beach Tidal Flat Experience
📍 화도면, Ganghwa
Dongmak Beach is one of the Ganghwa tidal flats introduced as among the world's five great tidal flats, set on a coastline lined with a sandy beach and a pine forest. At high tide you can swim, and at low tide you'll find a wide tidal flat exposed.
When the water recedes, tidal-flat creatures like crabs, clams, and lugworms appear, making it a great spot to observe with kids. The coast also has a walking trail that passes a black-faced spoonbill breeding ground, where you can take in nature on foot.
