Yehyang is a hanjeongsik restaurant carrying on a taste passed down through four generations, tracing back to 1930, when it opened in Gangjin-eup as a combined hanjeongsik restaurant and inn, continuing on to this day under a series of different names. With that much history behind it, its homemade flavor runs deep, and it's counted among Gangjin's leading hanjeongsik restaurants.
It serves a Namdo-style hanjeongsik built around hanwoo bulgogi lightly seasoned with joseon ganjang (traditional soy sauce), paired with generous vegetable side dishes, while a natural broth simmered from anchovy and kelp goes into the soup dishes.
