Gangneung Solhyang Arboretum
📍 구정면 수목원길, Gangneung
Gangneung Solhyang Arboretum is a forest arboretum laid out along a valley at the foot of Daegwallyeong. True to its name, meaning pine scent, pine trees dominate the woods, so the scent of pine greets you as soon as you step in, and the trail follows a stream through the valley.
The main trails are laid with wooden decking, so the slopes are gentle. Walking at a leisurely pace takes about an hour and a half, and the deep shade makes it noticeably cooler than downtown in summer.
