Gunsan Modern History Museum
📍 내항(장미동), Gunsan
Gunsan Modern History Museum is a municipal museum right beside the old inner harbor, covering both the changes the city went through after its port opened and the flow of maritime logistics. The former Bank of Joseon building and the customs house are within walking distance, so they are easy to visit together.
Each floor has a different theme, so you move through exhibits on maritime logistics, hands-on spaces where children can touch and try things, and an archive of old documents. Stop here before walking around the old inner harbor, and the buildings left along the streets will read very differently.
