Asia Culture Center (ACC)
📍 동구 광산동, Gwangju
Asia Culture Center (ACC) is a multi-use cultural complex that collects and studies cultural materials from across Asia, then uses that research to create and present exhibitions and performances. It rolls out a varied slate of new exhibitions every year.
Performances across genres, from theater and dance to classical music and concerts, are held as well. In May, cultural week events honor the spirit of the May 18 Democratic Uprising. The outdoor plaza also hosts a range of festivals and events year-round.

- On performance days, the plaza can get crowded, so it's best to arrive with extra time.
- The indoor exhibition areas are fairly large, so setting aside at least half a day lets you look around at an easy pace.
