Dosim Dawon
📍 화개면 정금리, Hadong
Dosim Dawon is a tea garden in Hwagaedongcheon, on the southern slopes of Jirisan, known as the birthplace of Korean tea cultivation. It has preserved native tea trees never brought in from outside, and the family has carried on tea farming for seven generations.
The field is home to one of Korea's largest tea trees, said to be over a thousand years old, and the rich, unpolluted soil has made the tea renowned for its aroma and flavor. You can stroll the sprawling green tea field and sit at a pavilion on a rock to brew and drink tea yourself.
