EasyTicket Maisan Tapsa Temple (Southern Provincial Park)
📍 진안읍 마이산남로, Jinan
Maisan Tapsa Temple is home to around 80 stone pagodas said to have been stacked alone by the lay Buddhist Lee Gap-ryong, with each pagoda carrying its own name and meaning, such as Cheonjitap and Obangtap. It is said that Lee entered the mountain at age 25 and continued building them until his death.
Among them, the pair of pagodas behind Daeungjeon Hall is known as the largest. Since the temple connects to the Maisan Provincial Park hiking trail, visitors also come here as part of a route that continues up to the ridge after seeing the pagodas.
