Mokpo Cable Car
📍 북항, Mokpo
The Mokpo Marine Cable Car runs from Bukhang (North Port) via Yudalsan Mountain to Gohado Island, spanning 3.23km in total — the longest marine cable car in Korea. It has become one of Mokpo's signature hands-on attractions.
At its highest point, the cable car climbs 155m above the ground, giving you a sweeping view of the old downtown and the multi-island sea. Ride it around sunset and you'll catch the sea and sky glowing red — an experience well worth fitting into your Mokpo trip.

Useful tips
- Waits can get long around sunset, so arrive earlier than your planned boarding time.
- It's also a nice route to board from the Yudalsan side, get off at Gohado Island, and walk on to the observation deck.
- Operations may be adjusted on windy days, so it's best to check before you visit.
