Gucheondong is one of Muju's signature valleys, and the Gucheondong Eosa-gil Trail is the walking path maintained along its stream. You can walk the section among Gucheondong's 33 Scenic Views from Inwoldam Pool to Ansimdae.
A legend says Joseon-era royal inspector Park Mun-su once gauged public sentiment around this area, and the path is flat enough to feel like an easy stroll as you walk to the sound of water. Even in summer, the valley shade keeps it relatively cool.

Useful tips • The section from Inwoldam Pool to Ansimdae is flat, so it's manageable for children or older visitors. • This course focuses more on walking and valley views than swimming, so light shoes are enough. • In summer, the valley shade feels cool, making it a good place to go when you want to escape the heat.
