EasyTicket Woljeongsa Fir Tree Forest Trail

Set on Mt. Odaesan, Woljeongsa Temple was founded in 643 by the monk Jajang during the reign of Queen Seondeok of Silla. It holds a number of ancient cultural treasures, including the Octagonal Nine-Story Stone Pagoda, a National Treasure, and a stone seated Bodhisattva statue designated a Treasure.
About 1,700 fir trees line the roughly 1km stretch from Iljumun Gate to Geumgang Bridge, forming a forest trail. Walked along a dirt path, this trail draws visitors year-round, and the temple also runs temple stay programs split into relaxation-focused and experience-focused options.
