This is a night-only walking course built along the forest trails of Nammangsan Park. It's designed around the story that murals erased from the walls of Dongpirang and Seopirang slip into this forest at night and come back to life.
Across 1.3 km of paved roads and forest paths, fifteen sections decorated with lights and video unfold one after another. Tongyeong's own motifs, such as mother-of-pearl lacquerware, Ogwangdae mask dance, Namhaean Byeolsingut ritual, and village-entrance beoksu guardian posts, are rendered in light.
By day it's an ordinary sculpture park; it opens only after sunset. Because the park's terrain and trees are left as they are and only lighting is added, take it slowly like a walk rather than treating it like a gallery exhibition.

Useful tips
- Walking the full 1.3 km takes about an hour, so give yourself plenty of time.
- It's a forest trail, so there are mosquitoes in summer; bring long sleeves or repellent.
- It's closed on Wednesdays, so check the day of the week first when fitting it into your Tongyeong itinerary.
- If you see Dongpirang by day and continue to DPIRANG at night, the story connects.
- Some sections are dimly lit, so low-heeled shoes are safer for walking.

Is this a good course to walk with children?
The course mixes gently sloped paved paths with forest trails, so elementary school-age kids can manage it. Since it runs late at night and has dark sections, though, it's safer to carry very young children.
