Imgyeongdae
📍 원동면 화제리 (오봉산), Yangsan
Imgyeongdae, ranked among Yangsan's 8 Scenic Views, is a pavilion built during the Unified Silla period that stands at the edge of a western cliff along the Nakdonggang River. Also known by the names Goundae and Choegongdae, it has long been recognized as a spot with fine scenery.
It's said that the Silla scholar Choi Chi-won often came here to enjoy the scenery, and a poem attributed to him is inscribed on the pavilion's wall. Walk a little further along the trail and you can also see the Nakdonggang River bending into the shape of the Korean Peninsula.

Useful tips
- About a 5-minute walk from the pavilion along the trail brings you to the viewpoint for the Korean Peninsula-shaped bend in the river.
- Visit early in the morning and you may catch mist settling over the Nakdonggang River.
- The trail runs along the top of a cliff, so it can get slippery in the rain — take care.
