EasyTicket Buseoksa (Temple)

Buseoksa is a temple of the Hwaeom school of Buddhism, founded by Master Uisang at royal command in the 16th year of King Munmu of Silla, and it's regarded as the birthplace of Hwaeom thought in Korea. The temple's name comes from the large rock west of Muryangsujeon Hall, which appears to float above the rock beneath it without touching.
The temple grounds preserve relics from both the Unified Silla and Goryeo periods — Muryangsujeon Hall is considered Korea's oldest wooden building, and the murals of Josadang Hall rank among the oldest murals in the country. These murals can be seen in the temple's museum.
