Anseong Farmland is a farm day trip near the Seoul metropolitan area where children can feed animals and walk through wide-open pastures. Check your child’s age in months and height and the flower-field season for your visit first, and choosing activities becomes much easier.

Anseong Farmland with Kids: Activity Difficulty by Age

Toddlers Around 36 Months: Start with Animal Feeding

Child admission is for ages 36 months through 18 years. The hands-on horseback-riding experience is for children aged 36 months or older who are at least 90 cm tall, so at this stage, it’s easier to focus on animal feeding and viewing at Anseong Farmland.

Preschoolers and Elementary-School Kids: Check Each Rule Separately

Preschoolers can ride the mini horses, while the regular horseback-riding experience requires a height over 90 cm. Even older elementary-school children must be at least 13 years old and 140 cm tall to drive a racing kart alone. Looking at the price table and age requirements side by side, the key is to check each facility’s height requirement before the child’s age.

Feeding and Additional Activity Fees

Animal feeding at Anseong Farmland costs 2,000 won for hay, pig feed, or rabbit feed. Birdseed costs 1,000 won per packet, and the hands-on horseback-riding experience is a separate 8,000 won.

How to Feed the Animals and What to Watch For

Buy Feed On-Site Only

Hay is sold one basket at a time, while horse feed comes in sets of four carrot skewers. For animal safety, outside food, including carrots and hay, isn’t allowed.

A Kid-Friendly Order of Activities

Start with feeding after you enter, then move on to animal viewing and rides so your child doesn’t miss the activity they’ve been waiting for. If your toddler has small hands, have an adult hold the feed container together with them.

How to Plan Around the Flower Fields by Season

Check the Dates for the Spring Rye Field

The 2026 Rye Field Festival ran from April 18 to June 7. If you’re planning a kids’ outing to Anseong Farmland for the spring flowers or rye field, check the festival dates in the official notice first rather than assuming they stay the same each year.

Summer Cosmos and Sunflowers: What to Compare

Official 2026 updates mentioned cosmos in June and a 10,000-pyeong sunflower field in July. In midsummer, start with animal activities at the 10:00 opening, then walk through the flower fields after lunch. This keeps all your outdoor time from piling up during the strongest sun.

Anseong Farmland Feeding Experience FAQ

Can I Bring Feed from Home?

No. Bringing in outside feed, including hay and carrots, is prohibited; only feed sold on-site may be used.

Is Being Over 90 cm Enough to Take the Riding Experience?

Not by itself. In addition to being at least 90 cm tall, riders must be 36 months~60 years old. For preschoolers, also check whether the mini-horse ride, rather than the regular ride, is the appropriate option.

Can Children Under 36 Months Enter for Free?

Free admission is available when children are accompanied by a parent and proof of age is shown. However, daycare and other facility group visits are charged, so the rules differ from family visits.

A quick check of your child’s height, the admission price for your date, and the flower-field updates before you leave will make planning an Anseong Farmland feeding experience much easier.
