  지리산온천 지구는 이제 많이 낡고 상권이 활력을 잃었지만 그곳은 지리간을 병풍삼고 산수유 마을이 그득 들어찬 아름다은 곳이다. 노고단 사장님의 가이드를 따라 반곡마을 한바퀴도 좋았지만 사람손이 닿아 만들어진 공간만큼이나 발길닿는대로 걸어서 도달하는 있는 그대로의 마을들 모두 너무나 따스하도 푸근하고 좋았다. 이틀은 머물면서 충분히 느낄 수 있었고 퇴색된 듯해도 그 시작이 어떠했는지 알려주는 숙소 내 벽화와 포스터 소품들 모두 지리산티아고의 정신을 느께게 했다. 여행에 대해 한번 더 생각해보는 기회였다. 세웠던 계획을 내려놓고…
