EasyTicket Gungnamji Pond and Poryongjeong Pavilion
📍 부여읍 동남리, Buyeo
Gungnamji Pond is described in the Samguk Sagi (History of the Three Kingdoms) as a pond created south of the royal palace during the reign of King Mu of Baekje. With an island set in the middle to express Taoist immortal thought, it is among the oldest surviving artificial gardens in Korea.
In summer, you can see a nighttime view of lotus flowers filling the pond and Poryongjeong Pavilion lit up and reflected on the water. In July, the Seodong Lotus Festival is held, followed by a chrysanthemum exhibition in fall, so each season has a different mood.

- The best time to see Poryongjeong Pavilion reflected in the water is after sunset, when the lights come on.
