Nami Island
📍 남산면, Chuncheon
This half-moon-shaped island floats on the Bukhan River, and you need to take a boat to enter. Tree-lined paths such as Metasequoia Lane and the Korean pine path run along the riverside, and the colors change with each season, giving the island a different look year-round.
Inside the island, facilities such as exhibition halls, workshops, a picture-book library, and the UNICEF Lounge are scattered around, and you can move between them by bicycle or loop train. Just taking it slowly takes at least half a day.
The island administratively belongs to Chuncheon, but the Gapyeongnaru ferry dock where you board the boat is actually in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do. If you enter Nami Island in a route-search app, it will guide you to the dock, so don't mix up the two addresses.

- Groups of 20 or more get a 10% discount on regular ferry boats only.
- There is also a discount for late-afternoon ticketing, so an evening-walk focused visit works too.
