Soyanggang Skywalk
📍 근화동, Chuncheon
This pedestrian bridge extends 174 m over the Soyang River. Of its total length, 156 m has a transparent tempered-glass floor, so the river shows right beneath your feet as you walk; at entry, you receive shoe covers to protect the glass.
Stand in the circular plaza at the end of the bridge and the observation decks spread out like wings on both sides, with a submerged mandarin fish sculpture visible in the water below. The fountain runs at set times, and after sunset the lights come on, giving the place a different feel from daytime.
Because the 2,000-won admission fee is returned as a Chuncheon local gift certificate of the same amount, it effectively turns into money to spend in town. It is common to walk here together with the nearby Statue of Soyanggang Maid.
