Sainam Rock
📍 대강면 사인암리, Danyang
Sainam Rock is a 70 m screen-like rock cliff rising beside Namjocheon Stream, and it's counted among Danyang's Eight Scenic Views. It's introduced as a landform carved from Cretaceous granite and is well placed to visit together with the natural scenery around Daegang-myeon.
Its defining feature is granite that forms square, column-like joints, and the name Sainam is said to come from the story that the Joseon-era scholar U Tak stayed here. Nearby is Cheongnyeonam Hermitage, a small temple site from the Goryeo period.
