EasyTicket Bomun Lake Trail
📍 보문동, Gyeongju
This is an artificial lake in the middle of the Bomun Tourist Complex. The loop trail around the lake is about 8km and takes around two hours to walk in full, with walking and bike paths laid out side by side, so plenty of people circle it on foot or by bicycle.
The willow-lined waterside stretch and the decks extending toward the lake are known photo spots, and in spring cherry blossoms and in fall autumn leaves are reflected on the water. Hotels, cafes, and swan-boat docks line the lakeshore, making it easy to stop for breaks, and it's perfectly fine to walk only part of the route instead of doing the whole loop.

- If the full 8km feels like too much, just walk round-trip from Bomun Lakeside Plaza to Bomunjeong Pavilion.
- Around sunrise and sunset, the lake reflections show up clearly and make for good photos.
- Parking lots inside the complex are free, so you can move your car and walk the route in separate sections.
- During cherry-blossom season in April, the lakeside road gets congested, so it's better to choose an early time.
- Some stretches don't have continuous shade, so it's best to avoid doing the full loop at midday in summer.
