Nambu Market Youth Mall
📍 전동(남부시장), Jeonju
Nambu Market is one of Jeonju's old markets, beginning as a market outside the south gate during the Joseon dynasty and becoming a public market in 1905. Even today, its stalls are packed with dried seafood, vegetables, fruit, and medicinal herbs.
The Youth Mall grew out of young merchants moving into vacant second-floor shops. Small restaurants, cafes, and lifestyle shops run along the space like little alleys, giving it a completely different feel from the market's first floor.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, a night market opens along the market aisles, with food stalls lining up in a long row. Because the arcade is covered, it generally runs even on rainy days, making it an easy evening plan.

- Opening hours vary by shop, and many places are closed in the early part of the day.
