EasyTicket Jeonju Hyanggyo (Confucian School)

This was a former state-run school that enshrined the spirit tablets of Confucian scholars and taught local students. Daeseongjeon Hall, where the tablets are enshrined, and Myeongnyundang Hall, the lecture space, remain, so you can see the structure of a Joseon-era school.
In the courtyards in front of Daeseongjeon Hall and Myeongnyundang Hall, ginkgo trees nearly 400 years old grow, drawing many visitors in fall to see the yellow-filled grounds. As it became known as a historical drama filming location, more people have also come to take photos against the stone walls.
There is no admission fee, and since it's a little away from the center of Hanok Village, it is relatively quiet. Pair it with Hanbyeokdang Pavilion or Omokdae on the Jeonjucheon Stream side and the walking route flows naturally.
