Cheonhwang Restaurant
📍 대안동, Jinju
Cheonhwang Restaurant is a long-standing restaurant at an intersection inside Jinju Jungang Market, open since the Japanese colonial era and now run by its third generation. Housed in a roughly 100-pyeong (about 330 m²) wooden hanok lined with rows of earthenware jars, it still keeps the feel of a traditional local eatery.
The signature dishes are traditional Jinju bibimbap, served with three side dishes and seonjiguk (ox blood soup), and charcoal-grilled seokswoe bulgogi. Being close to Jinjuseong Fortress, it's a popular first stop for a meal at the start of a Jinju trip.
