EasyTicket Wiyangji

Wiyangji is a reservoir said to have been built during the Silla dynasty. It originally served as an irrigation facility for rice paddies, but after a larger reservoir was built nearby, it became better known as a scenic spot for walks. It's counted among Miryang's Eight Scenic Views.
A grove of old fringe trees (ipat-namu) lines the reservoir, bursting into full white bloom at its peak in May. On a small island in the pond stands Wanjaejeong, a pavilion built in 1900, and its reflection on the water is a memorable sight.
