EasyTicket Namhae German Village

Namhae German Village was formed when Koreans who had been sent to Germany as miners and nurses in the 1960s and '70s returned home and settled here. It was built to honor the lives and culture they carried back with them and to help them resettle, with rows of German-style houses lining the hillside.
Red-toned roofs and brightly painted exterior walls are the common feature of the village's houses. Some of them operate as lodging, so you can experience one of the local houses firsthand. Cafes and restaurants around the village let you sample German-style sausages and beer.

- Since you explore it on foot along a hillside road, comfortable walking shoes are a good idea even with the climb.
- The upper part of the hill offers good sea views looking down toward Mulgeon Port, making it a great spot for photos.
- Some houses are used as lodging, so keep in mind as you walk around that this is also a residents' living space.
