Daegeum Cave
📍 신기면 대이리, Samcheok
Daegeum Cave is a limestone cave formed around the same time as the nearby Hwanseon Cave and Gwaneum Cave. It opened to the public after seven years of preparation, from its discovery to the installation of facilities. Inside, stalactites, stalagmites, and stone columns are all well developed.
Inside the cave, water of unknown origin flows through, forming waterfalls and pools of various sizes, giving it a different kind of scenery from other caves. It's accessible only by monorail, and you must book online at least a day in advance to enter.
