Yonghwa Beach
📍 근덕면 용화리, Samcheok
Yonghwa Beach is a small beach about 24km south of downtown Samcheok, with a pine forest lining its crescent-shaped coastline. At a depth of 1–1.5m with gentle waves, it draws plenty of families.
A stream flows through the middle of the beach, so you can play in both salt water and fresh water. The Ocean Rail Bike departs from here, and the Samcheok Sea Cable Car station is also nearby, making it easy to pair with other activities.
