Mohang Beach
📍 변산면, Buan
Mohang Beach is a small beach on the southern side of Byeonsan Peninsula, where a compact sandy shore meets a pine forest. Its modest scale gives it a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. It is also not far from Byeonsan Beach or Gyeokpo.
Even when the tide is out, the white sand tends to remain exposed, and a lone hackberry tree known as a drama filming location stands on a hill near the breakwater. A coastal walking path continues along the shore, making it good for a stroll.

Useful tips
- Because it is not very large, it is a good place to visit when you want to enjoy the sea in a quieter setting.
- The coastal walking path continues along the shore, and the atmosphere is even better if you walk it around sunset.
- There is a tidal-flat experience center nearby, so if you are visiting with kids, it works well to pair the beach with the activity.
