Nongoldam-gil and Mukho Lighthouse
📍 묵호동, Donghae
Nongoldam-gil is a mural-lined alley in the hillside neighborhood around Mukho Port, which opened as a port in 1941. It took its current form in 2010, when the Donghae Cultural Center ran a project turning local elders' life stories into wall murals.
As you climb the alley, the harbor view opens up wider and wider, and distinctive little cafes along the way make good spots to rest. The path naturally ends at Mukho Lighthouse, a fitting way to finish the walk.
