Dojjaebigol Sky Valley and Haerang Observatory

📍 묵호동, Donghae

Dojjaebigol Sky Valley and Haerang Observatory photo

Dojjaebigol Sky Valley is a footbridge over the sea shaped like a dokkaebi bangmangi (a magic club wielded by the dokkaebi, a Korean folkloric goblin), connecting an 85-meter stretch above the water with glass and mesh flooring. 'Dojjaebi' comes from the local dialect word for dokkaebi.

The observatory's name, 'Haerang,' is meant to evoke a space where the sea, the sun, and I come together. With a glass section that lets you see the waves below your feet and a Sky Cycle ride, it's a favorite stop for visitors.
