EasyTicket Maneosa
📍 삼랑진읍, Miryang
Maneosa sits on the upper slope of the 674m Maneosan, roughly eight-tenths of the way to the summit — a temple with a history old enough that the Samguk Yusa records it as founded by King Suro of Garak. It's also cited as evidence supporting the theory that Buddhism reached Korea by way of a southern sea route.
The biggest draw here is the field of Maneoseok boulders scattered in front of the temple — said to ring with a clear, bell-like tone when tapped, they're also called 'bell stones' and are designated a Gyeongsangnam-do Monument. Thanks to these mysterious stories, the temple is known as one of Miryang's signature attractions.
