EasyTicket Beollyeong-ri Metasequoia Road

Beollyeong-ri Metasequoia Road is a privately owned forest path, hand-planted and tended for more than twenty years by a Yeongdeok native. Metasequoia, arborvitae, and Japanese cypress trees planted across a roughly 200,000-pyeong (about 66-hectare) plot have grown into today's lush forest.
Along the roughly 420m one-way path, trees over 20m tall stand in straight rows on both sides, keeping you in shade the whole way. Climb the metal stairs to Jindallae (Azalea) Observatory for a view of the East Sea, and the cypress grove beyond is open free of charge.
