Haeundae and Blueline Park: A Route That Runs Along the Sea

The biggest draw in the Haeundae area is Haeundae Blueline Park. It’s a sightseeing train line built on the old Donghae Nambu Line railway, running from Mipo through Cheongsapo to Songjeong, so you travel slowly with the sea right beside you.

A Walk Along Haeundae Beach

Blueline Park’s Mipo Station sits right next to the eastern end of Haeundae Beach, so it flows naturally into a walk along the sand. Add a loop around Nurimaru on Dongbaekseom (Dongbaek Island) and it’s about an hour.

Gamcheon Culture Village: Busan’s Machu Picchu

The village’s alleys are narrow, so there’s almost no parking inside. If you’re driving, park at Gamcheon 2 Public Parking Lot on the outskirts and walk up. Coming from Busan Station, the easiest route is Line 1 to Tosong Station, then transfer to village bus Saha 1-1 or Seogu 2-2.

Gamcheon Culture Village is a residential neighborhood. Be considerate when taking photos in the alleys — no loud noise, and don’t trespass on private property.

Gwangalli Beach and the Gwangan Bridge Night View

Gwangalli is a neighborhood that really comes alive at night. Gwangan Bridge is front and center from anywhere on the beach, so wherever you sit — a cafe, a raw fish restaurant, a pojangmacha (street food tent) — you get the night view.

Gwangalli M Drone Light Show
