Jukdojeong Observatory
📍 현남면 죽도산, Yangyang
Jukdojeong Observatory is ranked sixth among Yangyang's 10 scenic spots, just a one-minute drive from Jukdo Beach. The octagonal pavilion at the summit was built in 1965 with support from community leaders in Hyeonnam-myeon.
A roughly 15-minute climb up the wooden deck stairway gives you sweeping views of both Jukdo Beach and Ingu Beach, and the trail circling the island also lets you enjoy forest bathing. There's a resting spot partway up, so it's manageable even at a slow pace.
