This local restaurant in Cheongho-dong's Abai Village has been run for generations by a family of displaced people who came down from Hamgyong Province after the Korean War. It's considered one of the village's representative restaurants for Hamgyong-style abai sundae.
Its signature dishes are abai sundae, stuffed in pork intestine, and squid sundae, made by filling a squid body and steaming it. You can have it as a bowl of sundae gukbap or order a sundae platter to share.
In summer, people also order cold noodles topped with tangy seasoned pollack sashimi. If you cross into the village by gaetbae rope ferry, it's only a few minutes on foot, making it easy to combine the ferry ride and the meal in one route.
